BCPTA circulates advertisements for educational opportunities on the topic of play therapy, child therapy, and expressive approaches that complement play therapy. Members receive 25% off advertising.
Advertising Guidelines
1. The BC Play Therapy Association will circulate advertisements for job postings, office space rentals, and/or educational opportunities on the topic of play therapy, child therapy, and expressive approaches that complement play therapy. The BCPTA reserves the right to decline submissions that do not meet these criteria or if the event you would like to advertise has conflicting dates with the BCPTA’s upcoming events.
2. Advertisements must be submitted using the format and wording desired by the presenter/advertiser, in compliance with BCPTA’s file formatting guidelines, as described below. The BCPTA may edit content where appropriate, and any edits will be sent to the presenter for final approval prior to circulation.
3. Submissions must be received no later than one month prior to the desired date for circulation to allow time for any necessary email communication between the advertiser and BCPTA.
4. Presenters/advertisers will be charged the following fees for each training session advertised:

* Members receive a discount of 25%.
** Please note that pictures and logos may be included in event ads and e-blasts provided that the entire ad if printed, does not exceed one letter-sized piece of paper. See File Formatting Guidelines for more information.
*** A website ad displays the title of the event, the presenter’s name, the date, and the location of the event. 5. Once approved, the advertisement will be circulated to the BCPTA membership via email, and will include the following disclaimer:

6. The advertisement will be published after payment has been received.

File Formatting Guidelines
Classified in Newsletter
Any word processing file (.doc, .docx, .pages, etc) or plain text within the body of the submission email.
E-blast
Text only: any word processing file (.doc, .docx, .pages, etc) or plain text within the body of the submission email.
Images and text with accompanying images: any standard image file (.png/.jpg/.gif, etc). Please submit image files separately from the text file.
For advertisements that are heavily formatted and/or are to be emailed exactly as-is using an existing flier or other such materials, please submit it as a JPEG image file (NOT a PDF) and it will be sent as a static image in the body of the email, linking to only one URL.
Please note that the entire ad, if printed, must not exceed one letter-sized piece of paper.
Please include a subject line.
Note any downloadable materials intended as attachments will be hosted and treated as links due to restrictions imposed by our email service.
