Sarah MacDonell

Specialized and trained by internationally renowned Marie-José Dhaese and Lisa Dion, Sarah uses a variety of modalities and techniques to suit the presenting concern and goals of her clients. Her sessions combine Play-, Expressive-, Sandplay-, Attachment- based- and Synergetic Therapies with a client centred approach. Sarah offers children, teens, and families seeking support for change a safe, non-judgemental space to bring awareness to current behaviours, beliefs and patterns that may be hindering your child's daily life. From anxiety, aggressive outbursts, to reducing the signs and symptoms of ADHD, her approach is client-centred, and a variety of either play- or expressive-therapies may be used based on the concern and child's age. For youth who are struggling with self-esteem, self-harm, or eating disorders - to name a few, Sarah also offers expressive-therapy, and 'talk-therapy' and incorporates CBT, DBT, Gestalt therapy, as needed.
